I'm Passionate About Using Tech Well

Hello, I'm Jack.

I was always the go-to for tech problems in my family, and remain so to this day. I took an interest in computers from quite a young age and started developing my first website at college, in 2019. I didn’t know how deep or interesting that would become at the time, or how seriously I’d go on to take it. Here we are in 2026 and I’m still developing that skill!

Other things I’ve done over the years include but are not limited to fixing my Nan’s phone (every week), creating a law revision site (twice), running a personal blog, running an individual eBay page for ~2 years taking over £4,000 turnover (is vanity), and achieving a First-Class Honours in Law.

I’m deeply interested in digital privacy and resilience, and bring a uniquely long-term mindset to client projects. I enjoy helping people solve problems and would love the chance to be able to help you solve yours.

I’m excited to meet you!

Why Trust True North With Your Website?

Attention to Quality

An Intuition for Design

Two things separate a designer from a builder: an intuitive grasp of how something should feel, and an eye for beauty and proportion in all things.

Something that is well designed is not noticed, it is felt. That might be the feeling of gentleness in a wellness site, or energy on a fitness site, or prowess and trust on a law firm’s site. It’s not something screamed into the face of visitors – it is an atmosphere created through conscious choice – often restraint – with a specific goal in mind.

That talent separates the builder from the architect. I don’t just assemble websites. I design them.

An in-development wellness site, focusing on backend booking systems, payment integration.
A confident and classy portoflio site for a modern architect: professional and creative.
Minimum Complexity, Maximum Resilience

I'll Still Be Here Tomorrow

I don’t just build websites as a flash-in-the-pan side-hustle. I live in them. I run a personal blog, a law blog for students and academics, and I have plans to build a botanical & horticultural blog as well. The same tools, mindset, values and infrastructure that I use to sustain my ’empire’, I also use to help you build yours.

I build for minimum complexity and maximum resilience. I’m here for the present, and for the future. Won’t you join me?

If you have any custom requirements for functionality, please talk to me about it. Web design is just as much about solving problems as anything else, and in many cases I can come up with a solution. I enjoy a challenge, so in any case I’d be happy to try!

A bespoke publication system with deep categorisation for rich content.
A bespoke, identity-led gaming review blog.
Problems Are For Solving

They Make Life Easier

Too often, solutions are over-engineered and under-perform.

Platforms that are supposed to help you arrest you with absurd fees and vendor lock-in, and complex workarounds only introduce failure points in your system, costing you time and energy.

True North is different. I believe systems should serve people. My standard? As complex as necessary, as simple as possible.

Are You Ready?

I am, and I'm excited to help.
