The audit covers the core pages of your site – typically your Home, About, Contact, Services, and Blog pages. Where relevant, I’ll also review your blog post template and your shop/product listing template.
Assessing how the site feels at a glance. I look at clarity, navigation, flow, and whether the site guides visitors or leaves them guessing.
Looking at how well the site conveys its own identity and whether the visual tone is coherent. It’s not a judgement of my tastes, but of the site’s design clarity and intention.
A plain-English account of how well your site is performing across important pages at a technical level, and what (if anything) might be holding it back.
A closer look at the writing on your site – accounting for tone, complexity, structure and presentation, I’ll be analysing how well it conveys your message and suits your brand voice.
A summary of what’s working and what isn’t, with an actionable list of things that would improve your site from across the previously-mentioned fields.
A website audit is a one-off engagement where I, at your request, will take a deep and strategic look at your current website analysing what works and what doesn't, and why.
The service will normally take me 48-hours (Monday-Friday), and the audit will be delivered to your email address as a PDF. Payment is made via direct bank transfer.
You might know your website is outdated and want to cringe every time someone asks to see it. Or perhaps you've outgrown it and it doesn't really represent who you are or what you do now. Maybe it's even broken, or at the very least not getting you work.
And maybe you know something needs to be done but you aren't sure precisely what or why. I can help with that.
Specific and actionable thoughts give you something to aim towards. Perhaps you benefit from a new way of seeing things, or perhaps you are reassured by a professional opinion concurring with your own. Either way, a document you can use as a guide to get you going the right way again.
Book your Report by contacting me below.
I will reply quickly, usually within 48 hours, with an invoice, payable in 5 working days.
(If you have any questions before booking, you’re welcome to reach out first – I’m always happy to help).
I will review your website and write out my thoughts.
Work will begin once payment is received. I will give thoughts and analysis with actionable ideas about your current website.
If you have any issues viewing it, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to assist.
There is no commitment on you to hire me after this.
Your 2-4 page Report arrives by email, and you can choose to have me do the recommended work or find another developer.
That said, I would be very pleased to continue our working relationship. :)
I’ve tried to answer a few common questions here but if you have one unanswered, please get in touch using the form!
Yes, if you have more pages on your site that you want looking at I’m happy to invoice for those as well! Just let me know in the message box in the contact form on the right here (or below if you’re on a phone).
None at all. The payment is one-time, no commitment, specifically for the audit. After that you can freely choose to do the work yourself, have me do it for you, or seek another developer from somewhere else and have them do it.
Not if you don’t want one or already know what you want out of future work/development on your site, no. This is more for people/businesses in the “I know my site isn’t great but I don’t really know why, or what to do about it” group.
If you know what you want doing then an audit is unlikely to be useful to you. You’re probably at the stage where you are ready to hire a developer to do the work.
Take the first step towards getting your own beautiful website today! I will get back to you shortly with an invoice and timeline (normally 48 hours).
