There is no live website to view with this one! There was, some time ago, but to cut down my hosting costs I took it down to work on more complex projects.
The Earthen One was just meant to be a simple blog, but one designed with some personality. I really dislike how bland and soulless a lot of sites are so you may have noticed in my portfolio that I really like to create a memorable brand. The Earthen One was designed to be a small, lightweight cottagecore blog for a girl and her dog living a slow life in the English country.
The blog was basic, with the ability to post images and videos and text as you’d expect, and with basic category systems and tags – but nothing advanced.
This shows the entire page when you’re reading a blog post

This shows how you filter blog posts, on the blog archive page.

Blog post categories were “Lifestyle” and “Thoughts” and clicking on either filtered the posts to show those relevant. Because it used AJAX, this was done without reloading the entire page, for better user experience.
Below is the last image I have, of the whole homepage – top to bottom. The images are blurred because when you’re scrolling, they fade in and unblur from the bottom of the screen, reversing that process at the top as you keep scrolling, to make the site feel more interactive.
